Rachel Reitan RN
President
Rachel Reitan (DNP, FNP-c, MSNeD, CWS) is a family nurse practitioner in Wichita Falls, working primarily in infectious diseases and wound care. She chairs the Infection Control and Antimicrobial Stewardship Committees at United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls. She also serves as adjunct faculty at Wilson School of Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Midwestern State University. She has been a TNP member since 2016 and serves as a TNP Legislative Ambassador, previously served on the TNP Nominating Committee, and has been a TNP Political Action Committee Honoraria since 2020.

My name is Sonja Calliste. I am the mother of two children, Alfred and Ciara, and the grandmother of four beautiful grandchildren, Bryson, Jaevyn, Savannah, and Madeline. I was born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas. I became an LVN and graduated from Vernon College in 1990. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2007 from Midwestern State University. I received my Master of Science in Nursing from Midwestern State University, becoming an Advanced Certified Nurse Practitioner in 2010. In 2014, I attended the University of Arlington (UTA) and earned my post master's certification and became a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Practitioner.
So, with encouragement from my friends, I stepped out on faith, and in 2017, I obtained my Doctorate Degree from the University of Chamberlain. My hobbies include shopping, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.

Jennifer Dillard MSN, FNP-C, CWCN-AP is a family nurse practitioner working in Wichita Falls. Her primary focus is wound care and hyperbaric medicine. She is also a member of the skin wound action team (SWAT) at United Regional.

Lisa Sheriff, RN, FNP-C, has been a Nurse Practitioner in Wichita Falls, Texas for 16 years. She is currently working for United Regional Physician's Group practicing family medicine. She is an active member of her local Nurse Practitioner organization and is serving on the board as Treasurer. She is excited about the growth of her profession and working alongside other Nurse Practitioners to provide quality care to her community.

Tonya Williams-Turner RN

Dr. Tonya Turner is a dual certified nurse practitioner-Family Practice and Women’s Health. She specializes in Weight Management, Hormone therapy and Acute Care. Dr. Turner earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wyoming and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. She later earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chamberlain College of Nursing.
She describes herself as a people person and says, “When I can make a difference in improving one’s health either medicinally or spiritually, it brings me joy.” Initially practicing Women’s Health, Dr. Turner pivoted to Family Practice because, for her, being an advocate in health care is about treating the whole family. Her passion is making a difference in the lives of others, including the people she works with. She believes focusing on increasing morale with her staff and creating a positive culture in the workplace impacts the care she provides to her patients.
She has enjoyed life with her husband, Thaddeus, since they were teenagers. Together, they have three children, four grandchildren, and fur babies. She likes to spend time with her grandchildren, and travel to new destinations in her free time.

Carrie Washburn APRN, FNP-C

Carrie recently became a nurse practitioner but became involved with TNP while in graduate school. As a registered nurse, she worked at United Regional peri-operative department, trauma medical/surgical, and piloted the short stay surgical unit. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Carrie served as a crisis nurse under FEMA contracts in some of the gravest conditions. Carrie is currently working full time in general neurology under the supervision of Dr. Danny Bartel. She feels honored to serve this community as a nurse practitioner and to serve the areas NPs as a board member.
